This creative commission will decorate areas of the public plaza at the new development of up to 1,400 homes on the River Medway

Rochester Riverside supports inaugural Medway Pride this August
Rochester Riverside is proud to support Medway Pride, which takes place for the first time on 21st August 2021. Run by volunteer group Medway Pride CIC, Medway Pride Festival 2021 will be a colourful, fun-filled event for all the family to celebrate diversity and support equality, for all communities of Medway. Taking place at Rochester Riverside Walk off Doust Way in Rochester, the festival will include live music, speeches and stalls from the voluntary sector, with live stage performances starting from 12pm.

Countryside Communities Fund pledges £10,000 for Medway charity projects
Countryside, the UK’s leading mixed-tenure developer, has donated a total of £10,000 from the Countryside Communities Fund to two local charities in Medway, the location of its Rochester Riverside regeneration scheme in partnership with Hyde. This comprises £5,000 each in funding for ‘Ebb & Flow’, a major new Medway festival, and ‘Make It Together’, an online cookery project organised by local charity Home-Start Medway.
